You have been invited to participate in Flavors of San Francisco, the gala kick-off ceremony for San Francisco Small Business Week, hosted by the US Small Business Administration, Mayor Ed Lee and the Office of Small Business, the SF Chamber of Commerce, the SF Economic Development Alliance, Golden Gate Business Association, SF African American Chamber, SF Small Business Development Center, sf.citi, and the SF Council of District Merchant Associations.
Flavors of San Francisco is the largest small business celebration in San Francisco, attended by more than 1,000 business and community leaders to celebrate small business in San Francisco. Meet and mingle with hundreds of small business owners, dozens of small business resource providers, and merchants associations; all while enjoying a taste of San Francisco from more than 20 local restaurants, bars and food and beverage entrepreneurs!
In addition to exposure during the event, participating organizations will receive a number of unique marketing opportunities that include:- Presence on the Small Business Week website - http://www.sfsmallbusinessweek.com - Profile in the Small Business Week color brochure and resource guide- Listing in our Event Guide, the Passport to Flavors of San Francisco- Presence on our internet marketing campaign, including Facebook and Twitter
What we will provide for you:- One six foot table with linen- Tabletop signage with your business name and the Flavors of San Francisco logo- Access to power if requested in advance and available
For restaurants, bars and food and beverage entrepreneurs only:- Garbage receptacles at your table and an event crew to help with clearing- Ice upon request- An additional table with linen for food prep- Two complimentary guest passes to the event (Flavors of San Francisco has a $20 admission fee this year)
What you should bring:- You are encouraged to bring additional signage, decoration or accents. All additional items should fit on your table and not create a hazard.- This event is completely green. Please plan on loading out anything you bring that is not compostable or recyclable.
For restaurants, bars and food and beverage entrepreneurs only:- Samples of food or drink that best represent your business. We ask participating businesses to contribute 600-plus bite-sized samples to accommodate the estimated attendee count.- Any necessary serving platters and utensils
Please note that we will be charging a $20 admission fee for entrance to Flavors of San Francisco this year. This low entrance fee is needed to keep up with the growth of the event and continue to keep it the leading small business networking event of the year. By staffing a table at the event, you and your onsite staff working the table will gain free admission to the event.
