Barnyard Classroom
A program designed for home schoolers ages 5 (or turning 5 in 2018) and 8 year olds.
Children will explore our working farm led by our experienced Farm Educators.
All activities are seasonally themed and stimulate their senses, connecting them to the farm and where their food comes from.

We have added a Sibling Session at the same time so our littlest farmers don’t miss out on all the fun!
Families with children under the age of 5 are invited to stay on the farm for a special Sibling Session while the older school aged children are off exploring and partaking in their own lessons. They will enjoy activities geared for their age.

Enjoy 2 hours of hands on learning. Each lesson will include; visiting the farm animals, taking a wagon ride, observing how the change of the season affects the farm and of course some time to play with peers in our Barnyard Adventure Playground. Farming is a rain, shine and snow lifestyle and so is our program. Dress for the weather and come out and have some fun!

One week could be learning about animals and our crops while the next week we take a closer look at the soil that grows our food.

Families are welcome to stay and play, pack a litter-less lunch and enjoy a farm picnic.
