Classroom Speaker Request Form
Hello from your friendly, local University of Maryland Astronomy Department! First, thanks for your interest in having an astronomer come and speak to your group/classroom/etc. Please fill out this form, and a member of the department will respond to you within 48 hours!
This form is for requesting classroom visits. If instead you would like to have a tour of our observatory, please take a look at the UMD Astro Observatory tour information at
. The observatory website also has information about other public programs as well.
Are you a member of the UMD Astronomy department wanting to participate in classroom outreach? Please contact Teal!
DUE TO COVID-19, all future requests will be under the stipulation that the event will be virtual. This means we will be calling into classrooms or brainstorming ways to continue our mission of outreach and learning!
