Once you have signed up, every three to six months you will be sent a new project to work on. The content may vary wildly (self-help, romance, science fiction, poetry, etc.), so if you're not an eclectic reader (or at least open to working on varied projects) this will not be a very good opportunity for you.
Projects are distributed via Google Docs. You will get a link to the document that you can read and edit on your desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
You will have between 2 and 4 weeks to finish each project, depending upon how long it is.
Once you're done, you will receive credit in the final, published version of the book.
You will also receive a free copy of the ebook.
You may also receive 1% of the profits from the first pre-orders of a project you work on and the sales from the first 30 days of publication. As with any business venture, this by no means guarantees that there will be any profits, and therefore there is no guarantee that you will be compensated.
Once accepted, feel free to add this position to your resume to help with future job searches related to marketing, reading, writing, editing, and publishing.
Generally speaking, the only reasons you wouldn't be accepted onto the list is if you do not complete this form in its entirety.
