Baileywick Road Elementary School PTA would like nominations to consider for its 2020-2021 Board of Directors. In addition, the PTA is looking for people interested in serving on various committees. If time commitment is an issue, much of the work for certain committees can be completed at home.

Please complete this interest form by May 27th. Officer positions will be voted on in May and the new officers will begin their term in June.

Vice President (assist president & providing communication to all members)

Vice President of Fundraising (generate fundraising ideas and work with fundraising committee)

Vice President of Events (serve as a liaison between PTA board and events' committee to plan family and student events)

Vice President of Hospitality (work with Staff Appreciation & other chairs to organize)

Secretary (maintain membership records, take meeting minutes)

Treasurer (maintain PTA financial records, organize/balance budget)

Audit (review bank reconciliation monthly, provided by treasurer) -- this work can be done from home

Advocacy (attend area board committee meetings, PTA support) -- meetings are every other month for 1 hour

Cultural Arts (schedule & advertise 4 events throughout the year) This job can be done from home.

Staff Appreciation (plan and execute monthly staff appreciation activities)

Family Nights Out (organize and advertise monthly fundraising nights) Most of this can be done at home.

School Spirit (handle T-shirt orders in fall & organize monthly Spirit Days) Most of this can be completed at home.

Book Fair (assist w/ organizing 2 book fairs per year)

Family Programs (organize family events during the year -- Movie Nights, Magic Shows, Tech Night)

Yearbook (assist with organizing, submitting, & distributing yearbooks) Much can be completed at home

Fall Festival (work as a committee to plan this once a year family event, usually end of Sept.)

Room Parents (coordinate with teachers for communication to parents -- most work can be done from home)

Fall Fundraiser (organize fall fundraiser -- usually a no fuss fundraiser so much of the work can be from home) )

Fun Run (work with Apex Leadership Company to oversee the Fun Run)

Shopping Fundraisers (coordinate grocery cards & organize Box Tops)

5th Grade Celebration (coordinate committees to plan the graduation day festivities)
