2021 Summer Learning Camp Application
Hawkins County will be offering Summer Learning Camps for designated students beginning on May 24 and tentatively scheduled to end on June 30, 2021 (Grades 1-5) and June 18, 2021 (Grades 6-8). The learning camps are designed for current Kindergarten - 8th grade students to provide remediation in Reading and Math for students at risk of retention or not being proficient in skills needed for success in the next grade level.

Students who attend the Summer Learning Camp will attend four days per week (Monday - Thursday) for six hours per day (7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.). Their day will focus on Reading, Math, and RTI Interventions. Students will be provided with breakfast and lunch. Transportation will also be provided for students.

By applying for the Summer Learning Camp, you are agreeing for your child to participate in program by:
- Arriving on time each day
-Participating each week the program is offered
-Complete work as assigned

Not all school sites will be open during the summer. Once applications have been processed and staff selections have been confirmed, you will receive a notice from your school letting you know which school site your child will attend for the Summer Learning Camp.
