Road of Recovery Scholarship Application
The Road of Recovery Scholarship is to help remove barriers students in Recovery often face. This is a flexible scholarship done through the NRV Health Department and New River Community College. We will work with you to use the money as best suits your needs within some limitations as you will see below - please coordinate with Chad Fox (cfox@nr.edu) for specifics on distribution of the scholarship.

You must be enrolled in at least 3 credit hours at NRCC and agree to participate in Recovery events and one-on-one peer sessions throughout the year. If you meet certain criteria you will also be required to meet with Stephanie Shinn for financial literacy training.
