Intro/Review of Shorebird ID
Online workshop via Zoom. Presented by SMRA Executive Director Anne Swaim. This is an intro/review for identifying shorebirds found in our region. Workshop is best for those who already have some birding experience. For adults and youth age 9 and up. Workshop handouts will be emailed to participants before the online session. Also see below for small group shorebird walks offered for workshop participants and limited to 6 people/walk. Register early for a walk space!

Enriching Habitats for Birds, Pollinators and More
In this Zoom workshop, SMRA Garden Coordinator Donna Lassiter will discuss how to create a habitat for birds, bees and a diversity of wildlife by growing native plants. She will showcase species that thrive in a variety of conditions and their benefits for the environment as well as cultural tips for growing them with success.
