Garden Plot Interest

Garden plots are assigned on a first come first served basis, with preference given to returning gardeners in good standing, and those interested in the community, as well as the gardening, aspect of the garden (we're growing community, as well as plants).

Good standing means attending at least TWO WORK DAYS, TWO HOURS COMPOSTING, and COMMUNICATING well with garden leadership and fellow gardeners.

People with disabilities or on low incomes are encouraged to participate and let us know if you need assistance.

The garden is run 100% by volunteers, and gardener contributions to work in the garden are required. Please understand that we give priority to those who participate in the garden as a community, understanding the world beyond themselves. :)

Generally, gardeners must be residents of the incorporated city of Golden, as this is a requirement from the City of Golden.
