Ladies Rock San Diego (LRSD) is an intensive weekend program where you form a band, learn an instrument, write an original song and rock live at a local venue...in just 3 days! You will also have the opportunity to attend a variety of workshops with topics related to being an empowered rocker!

In addition, our goal is to expand awareness for Rock n’ Roll Camp for Girls SD, and to reach out to others who support our mission to bring the community together to empower girls through music. All proceeds from LRSD go to Rock n’ Roll Camp for Girls SD to help support our mission.

Who can apply for Ladies Rock Camp?
LRSD is for any women, age 18 and over, who want to rock out while supporting Rock n’ Roll Camp for Girls SD!
There is no musical experience necessary and all instruments are provided at camp. While our programming is guided by the experiences of girls and women, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment that supports and welcomes a wide range of marginalized gender identities and expressions. We welcome women, trans, and gender nonconforming participants.
How much does Ladies Rock Camp cost?
Tuition is $275
Tuition has been set at the absolute lowest amount possible for us to cover our costs and meet expected financial goals for our programs. Tuition is not tax deductible but if you want to give more than the tuition the additional funds are considered a tax-deductible donation. LRSD will enthusiastically accept your donation! You ROCK!

What is included?
Tuition for LRSD covers the full weekend experience:

- Instrument instruction
- Band coaching
- Empowering workshops & assemblies
- A professional photo shoot with your band
- A guest performances Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and evening.
- A Q&A with a guest panel of Ladies Who Rock! in our community
- A Ladies Rock SD canvas tote bag with swag
- You get to ROCK LIVE!


Meals during camp are also included:

Friday - Dinner
Saturday - Breakfast, lunch and dinner
Sunday - Breakfast and lunch
Snacks and beverages are also included throughout the weekend.

This is not an overnight camp. We do not provide overnight accommodations.

What is the cancellation & refund policy?
If you cancel your Ladies Rock San Diego enrollment before February 25th, 2019, we offer a 50% refund of your payment.
If you cancel on or after February 25th, 2019, there is no refund.
What is the time commitment?
LRSD is an intensive weekend rock camp. Please be sure you will be able to commit to the full weekend with your new band!
How do you assign instruments?
Ladies Rock Camp application for instrument preference is first come, first served. If your particular instrument is full, we will attempt to place you in your second or third choice or on the waiting list for your first.

Where is my first gig?
Ladies get to perform their original songs in front of family, friends and the community at at The House of Blues San Diego Voodoo Room - 1055 5th Ave., San Diego, CA. Show starts at 4:00 (3:30 doors).

Tickets are $10.00 for General Admission at the door. Campers do not require a ticket for admission.

What is the application process?
1. Apply - Complete and submit this form.

2. We confirm your application - Once you have submitted it, we will send you a confirmation email within 48 hours to let you know we have received your application.

3. Apply payment - Within 2 week you will be notified of your acceptance into camp, and sent a link to where you may apply you $275 payment for tuition due. You have 2 weeks to pay your tuition. Enrollment is not complete until tuition is paid in full. If payment is not made within 14 days, we have the right to offer your slot to another camper.

4. Complete final forms - Once we receive your payment we will confirm your enrollment via e-mail, phone or mail. You will also be sent a link to consent and release forms that must be completed prior to you attending camp. You will complete these and submit them back us.

Two weeks before camp you will receive detailed information about LRSD, including your instrument assignment, the full schedule, social events, and showcase information.

LRSD provides continental breakfast, lunch and dinner at camp, as well as snacks during the day. Each meal will have vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and meat options but be aware if you have a very restricted diet you may wish to bring additional snacks. We can provide refrigeration for personal food if needed. Please let us know if you have any food allergies or meal preferences:
