RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

URBAN SKATING EVENT – ATLANTA, GA
MAY 29, 2025 – JUNE 1, 2025
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING. THIS IS A LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT.
I, the undersigned participant, acknowledge and agree that by filling out and submitting this Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement (the “Agreement”), I am voluntarily choosing to participate in the Urban Skating Event (the “Event”) organized by City Rollers Skate Club LLC, Atlanta Peachtree Road Rollers, and Bad Bitch Skate Club (the “Organizers”).
ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I acknowledge that urban street skating is an inherently dangerous activity that involves significant risks, including but not limited to serious bodily injury, disability, paralysis, death, property damage, and other unforeseen dangers. I understand that skating in an open urban environment presents additional hazards such as traffic, road conditions, weather, pedestrian interactions, and obstacles. I hereby assume full responsibility for any and all risks of injury, damage, or loss that may occur as a result of my participation in this Event.
RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY
I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, and assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the Organizers, their affiliates, members, directors, officers, volunteers, agents, sponsors, and any associated entities (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, actions, demands, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of or in connection with my participation in the Event, including but not limited to those caused by the negligence of the Released Parties.
INDEMNIFICATION
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages resulting from my participation in the Event, including legal fees incurred in defending such claims. I accept full responsibility for any harm or injury I may cause to myself or others during the Event.
MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION
In the event of an injury, accident, or illness, I grant permission for emergency medical treatment to be administered to me and acknowledge that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred as a result of my participation in the Event.
SAFETY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I agree to comply with all Event rules, safety guidelines, and instructions provided by the Organizers. I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for assessing my own skill level and physical condition before participating. I affirm that I am in good health and physically capable of participating in this Event.
PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE
I understand that the Event may be documented via photography and video recording. I grant the Organizers and their affiliates the right to use my image, likeness, and voice in promotional materials, social media, and other publications without compensation.
GOVERNING LAW & SEVERABILITY
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING
I HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY. I UNDERSTAND THAT I AM GIVING UP SUBSTANTIAL LEGAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT.

LEA DETENIDAMENTE ANTES DE FIRMAR. ESTE ES UN ACUERDO LEGALMENTE VINCULANTE.
Yo, el participante reconozco y acepto que, al diliguenciar y subir esta Liberación de Responsabilidad, Renuncia a Reclamaciones, Asunción de Riesgo y Acuerdo de Indemnización (el "Acuerdo"), elijo voluntariamente participar en el Evento de Patinaje Urbano (el "Evento") organizado por City Rollers Skate Club LLC, Atlanta Peachtree Road Rollers y Bad Bitch Skate Club (los "Organizadores").
ASUNCIÓN DE RIESGO
Reconozco que el patinaje urbano en la calle es una actividad inherentemente peligrosa que implica riesgos significativos, incluyendo, pero no limitado a, lesiones corporales graves, discapacidad, parálisis, muerte, daños a la propiedad y otros peligros imprevistos. Entiendo que patinar en un entorno urbano abierto presenta peligros adicionales como el tráfico, condiciones de la carretera, clima, interacción con peatones y obstáculos. Por la presente, asumo plena responsabilidad por cualquier riesgo de lesión, daño o pérdida que pueda ocurrir como resultado de mi participación en este Evento.
LIBERACIÓN Y RENUNCIA A RESPONSABILIDAD
Yo, en mi nombre y en el de mis herederos, albaceas, administradores, representantes legales y cesionarios, por la presente libero, renuncio, descargo y eximo de responsabilidad a los Organizadores, sus afiliados, miembros, directores, funcionarios, voluntarios, agentes, patrocinadores y cualquier entidad asociada (colectivamente, las "Partes Liberadas") de cualquier y toda reclamación, acción, demanda, responsabilidad, daño, costo o gasto derivado de o relacionado con mi participación en el Evento, incluyendo, pero no limitado a, aquellos causados por la negligencia de las Partes Liberadas.
INDEMNIZACIÓN
Acepto indemnizar y eximir de responsabilidad a las Partes Liberadas de cualquier y toda reclamación, responsabilidad o daño resultante de mi participación en el Evento, incluidos los honorarios legales incurridos en la defensa de dichas reclamaciones. Acepto plena responsabilidad por cualquier daño o lesión que pueda causar a mí mismo o a otros durante el Evento.
AUTORIZACIÓN MÉDICA
En caso de lesión, accidente o enfermedad, otorgo permiso para que se me administre tratamiento médico de emergencia y reconozco que soy responsable de cualquier gasto médico incurrido como resultado de mi participación en el Evento.
RECONOCIMIENTO DE SEGURIDAD
Acepto cumplir con todas las reglas del Evento, directrices de seguridad e instrucciones proporcionadas por los Organizadores. Reconozco que soy el único responsable de evaluar mi propio nivel de habilidad y condición física antes de participar. Afirmo que gozo de buena salud y estoy físicamente capacitado para participar en este Evento.
AUTORIZACIÓN DE USO DE IMAGEN Y VIDEO
Entiendo que el Evento puede ser documentado a través de fotografía y grabación de video. Otorgo a los Organizadores y sus afiliados el derecho de utilizar mi imagen, apariencia y voz en materiales promocionales, redes sociales y otras publicaciones sin compensación.
LEY APLICABLE Y DIVISIBILIDAD
Este Acuerdo se regirá por las leyes del Estado de Georgia. Si alguna disposición se considera inaplicable, las disposiciones restantes permanecerán en pleno vigor y efecto.
RECONOCIMIENTO DE COMPRENSIÓN
HE LEÍDO ESTE ACUERDO, ENTIENDO COMPLETAMENTE SUS TÉRMINOS Y LO FIRMO LIBRE Y VOLUNTARIAMENTE. ENTIENDO QUE AL FIRMARLO RENUNCIO A DERECHOS LEGALES IMPORTANTES.
