Team Up to Clean Up: Sweetwater Marsh 1/29/23
Thanks for your interest in joining us for our cleanup on the Sweetwater Marsh at the Living Coast Discovery Center! 

Help us beautify the marsh! If you have taken a walk on Sweetwater Marsh trails in the past, you know just how special they are. Volunteers can come any time between 10 AM and 1 PM to participate and will receive a 2 for 1 coupon to visit the Living Coast Discovery Center after the cleanup or another day of their choosing.

*Please note: The refuge is home to various wild birds and in an effort to prevent the spread of avian flu to our feathered residents, we ask that you bring an additional pair of shoes if you plan to visit the center after the cleanup.

This cleanup is in partnership with USFWS. 


This program is part of our Trail to Bay Challenge, consisting of 3 guided hikes and one cleanup.


Look for the Living Coast Discovery Center canopies to check-in and check-out.

Time: 10 AM - 1 PM
Location: Living Coast Discovery Center, 1000 Gunpowder Point Dr. Park in the Living Coast Parking Lot and take the shuttle in. 

Necessities:
Rain boots or water proof shoes (the Living Coast has some rain boots that can be used by guests but are not guaranteed for all)
