2024 Bike Easy's Bicycle Second Line - Musician Application

EVENT DATE: October 19th, 2024 at the Broadside 

The Bicycle Second Line is Bike Easy’s biggest event of the year! The Second Line is a pedal-powered version of the famous, musical second line parades that wind through New Orleans streets. Over 400 people on bikes from all over the region will be led by a live brass band through New Orleans to help raise awareness and funding for Bike Easy’s critical efforts. 

The Bicycle Second Line will end at the Broadside for a family friendly after party from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. The after party will celebrate our bicycle community with food, drink, storytelling, and activities for all. We are looking for bands to keep the party going with lively tempos and New Orleans roots. 


MUSICIAN REQUIREMENTS AND AGREEMENT: 

  1. Basic audio and sound set up will be provided 

  2. Upon selection, the artist, performer, or group agrees to let Bike Easy pair them with a sponsor for on stage signage and in promotional material, solely for Artist, Performer or Group’s performance at the 2024 Bike Easy Bicycle Second Line and for the purpose of paying the performance

  3. Payment provided night of performance
