Kipps Additional Afternoon Car & Walker Pick Up Card Request Form 2023-2024
We are trying to make the Kipps dismissal process as safe as possible for your children.

In cooperation with the Blacksburg Police Department, rules have been established for afternoon student dismissal.   Starting on Monday, August 21, 2023,  you will need to have your bright pink Kipps Permission Pick Up card displayed on your vehicle dashboard or carried with you in order to pick up your child as a Car Rider or Walker.  If you do not have a pink permission card with you when you arrive at Kipps, you will need to come into the main office with your ID in order to pick up your child(ren).

For walkers, kindergarten through second grade students will require an adult 18 years of age or older to meet them at the pick up point.  Kindergarten through second grade students are not allowed to walk home with an older Kipps sibling.

The school will provide two permission cards for your use.    If you require more than the two pink permission cards provided, please fill out this Permission Pick Up Card Request form.

Please complete the following form only if you require more than the two permission cards provided during the first week of school.  Complete pick up instructions can be found on the back of your pink pick up cards or on the Kipps website.
