11th and/or 12th-grade multilingual students have the opportunity to earn free college semester credits by earning a Minnesota Bilingual or Multilingual Seal. Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MNSCU) will award free college semester credits to graduating high school students who demonstrate language proficiency in any language other than English.
School District 197 is offering the opportunity to take the AVANT STAMP language proficiency test for any qualifying junior or senior who wishes to demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in a language other than English, including American Sign Language (ASL) and American Indian (indigenous) languages.
