Please read the following before completing the sign up form:

  1. We require all participants to have a caregiver present for the duration of the event.

  2. Participants should be comfortable around both cats and dogs as our program is geared towards the care and enrichment of both types of animals. 

  3. A Sanctuary volunteer will reach out via phone before you are officially scheduled for an event. This screening process will ensure we are best able to meet the needs of the participant on the day of the event. 

  4. We will always do our best to assign activities or tasks that coincide with participant ability level and interests. If at any point the activities are beyond what the participant is comfortable with or able to do, please let a Sanctuary volunteer know right away. 

  5. If the safety of any participant or animal is compromised at any time, Sanctuary volunteers may ask that participants not continue with the program.
