The Poly Puente Program is a college-going program developed by UC Berkley. It is intended to "bridge" students into an Honors/AP Level curriculum by the conclusion of their sophomore year. Our focus is on multicultural literature, developing leaders through community service, and creating college-going students through a focus on 4-Year College/University attendance after high school. We are looking for students who have Honors & AP potential, but who may not self-select these courses on their own. Puente students should have an interest in pursuing a four-year college education and should have grade level reading and writing skills.

THIS FORM SHOULD BE COMPLETED BY THE REQUESTING STUDENT'S CURRENT ENGLISH TEACHER. If you are not the current English Teacher for the student, please remind him/her that it must be completed by the ELA teacher.
