CFOS Advisory Council Nomination Form
The CFOS advisory council was approved by Chancellor Dan White to assist the University of Alaska Fairbanks in developing program direction and priorities for the College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences; to advocate for and facilitate broad understanding of the goals, objectives and accomplishments of the College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences; to provide guidance on goals and objectives and evaluation of opportunities and priorities for program development; to identify fundraising and marketing opportunities; and to serve as the link between its various constituencies and the College.
Council members will represent a diverse and broad range of scientific, industry and community interest.
All nominations will be reviewed by the Dean’s Advisory Committee. Following the Dean’s recommendation to the Chancellor, members are appointed by the Chancellor to serve on the Council for three year terms.
