Eligibility
- Maximum two entries per person (please note work is selected for the exhibition from entries received)
- Submissions open to all New Zealand residents ages 16 years and older
- No restrictions on size or medium, except giclée prints
- Submission fee of $20 for one artwork or $40 for two artworks to be paid by Monday 11 October 2021 for the entry to be considered. Payment details in Section 8.
-This entry fee is non-refundable, even if the artwork is not selected for display in the Art Awards Exhibition.
Artwork Specific Information
- a maximum of TWO artworks may be entered.
- All mediums welcome, with exception of Giclée prints.
- there will be two competitions categories, 2D and 3D
- No restrictions on subject matter/theme (subject to point 10 of our Terms & Conditions).
- All artworks must be original and executed in the past 12 months
Awards Information
3 x Outstanding Artists Awards each receive $1000 monetary prize plus the opportunity to exhibit at Mairangi Arts Centre together in 2022.
1 x 2D Merit Award- $250 Factory Frames voucher
1 x 3D Merit Award- $200 CCG voucher
1 x Open Merit Award- $200 Gordon Harris voucher
1 x People's Choice Award- $100 MAC voucher
1 x 21 years old & Under Merit Award- $250 cash sponsored by Yogawithin

Delivery of Artworks
Artworks must be delivered during our office hours* and no later than 4pm Friday 5 November.
All selected artworks must be delivered with swing tags stating:
- full name
- title
- medium
- retail price of the work.
Please ensure swing tags are long enough to flip to the front for 2D work.
All 2D work must be framed (unless on canvas), strung, and ready for installation.
For 3D work, swing tags must be removable.

*Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 4pm | Saturday & Sunday, 10am - 2pm
