Workshop Descriptions:

12/5 Get to Know Your Contract: For Autonomous Schools. Everything you need to know about Election to Work Agreements (EWAs), Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) and what it takes to improve working conditions at autonomous schools (pilot, innovation, charter, turnaround, receivership).

1/29 Faculty Senate Training. The road to strong, collaborative, and inclusive Faculty Senates. IN-PERSON AT THE BTU FROM 5-7PM.

2/8 Increasing Union Engagement In Your Building. How do we motivate more people to get involved in their union? Learn how to map your building and use structures, such as Contract Action Teams (CATs) at your school to beat apathy and activate every single member.

[NEW DATE!] 3/21 Get to Know Your Contract: Master Contract Deep Dives. Important things to know to implement and enforce the latest BTU/BPS contract items.
