The deadline to apply to the Borough Assembly Committee has passed. The Civic Engagement Commission is now advancing applications to the Sortition Process, to randomly select members with a weighted methodology to account for age, race/ethnicity, gender, and zipcode of residence. We will be in touch with selected members in early December, and we will notify all applicants by the end of December of their status.
