Please fill out the form below to register your child for Sage Fall After school programs. All clubs begin at 3:30pm and are held at The Sage School campus, 171, Mechanic St., Foxboro, MA. Students need to be picked up at club dismissal time, in order to avoid a late charge. We will not be able to issue refunds for or make up missed sessions.

Monday, Sept. 10 - Dec. 10:

Mixed Media Clock Making: Creativity will run wild in this exciting hands-on workshop as students create their very own wall clock to take home and proudly display! Each week students will have the opportunity to explore different processes, equipment, tools, and 3-dimensional art mediums to construct components for their finished masterpieces. Subjects may include acrylic, woodworking with a CNC cutter, laser engraving, kiln-formed glass, metalworking, and painting techniques. (Grades 2 - 8)_____3:30 - 4:30pm_____Cost: $ 350

Run Club: Young runners will learn proper techniques for stretching before and after a run, the process for pacing themselves during a run, and work towards endurance to complete a 5K run. Every week, runners will have a goal, to better their run from the previous week. (Grades 2 - 5)_______3:30-- 4:30pm______Cost: $ 275

Tuesday, Sept. 11 - Dec. 11:

Get Crafty: Like working with your hands? Join us to learn how to do a variety of crafts: weaving, gimp, and maybe even a friendship bracelet or two. You’ll be sure to make lots of creative crafts to share with family and friends. (Grades 3 - 5)_____3:30 - 4:30pm_______Cost:$ 300

Wednesday, Sept. 12 - Dec. 12:

Quilting: Have fun learning about this fabric art form that has been around for hundreds of years! Each student will create a twin-sized quilt during this class. A materials list will be distributed when you sign up. (Grades 3 - 8)___3:30 - 5:00pm___Cost: $ 400

Chess: Chess Master Connections (CMC) offers Chess instruction with World Champion Chess Instructor, Jorge Sammour-Hasbun, and/or his colleagues. This club is open to beginner as well as advanced chess players. Students will be evaluated on the first day of class and placed in groups based on ability. Every child will learn at his/her own level and will be challenged along with having fun. (Grades K - 8) _____3:30-4:30pm_______Cost: $ 300

Thursday, Sept. 13 - Dec. 13:

Sword Fighting: Want to learn to swing a sword like Aragorn, deceive an opponent like Jackie Chan, or strike with speed and accuracy as an Olympic fencer? Unique, Fun, Sweat-Inducing, and Safe... Sword Fighting will take you on a journey through various sword styles and tactics used throughout history, such as, Fencing, German Longsword, and Asian sword arts. We train with high quality padded swords that allow us to learn and test our skills at real speed against real opponents. (Grades 5 - 8)___ 3:30-4:30pm_____ Cost: $ 275

Strategy & Logic Games: Studies show that students who engage in hands-on play-based activities have a marked increase in motivation, creativity, problem solving skills, self confidence and independence. From chess to Catan, learning and playing different kinds of strategy games encourages kids to learn to think, examine a problem from multiple angles and implement their knowledge and skills all while having fun and connecting with others face to face! We will bring a variety of strategy games to teach and help kids learn them and engage with each other as they explore and stretch their minds. (Grades 4 - 8)____3:30 - 4:30pm____Cost: $ 275

Metalworking: Twist, hammer, sand, and saw! Students will feel empowered as they learn to manipulate copper and other metals, creating a variety of exciting projects. With the guidance of a Makers Workshop artisan students will accumulate a skillset of metalworking techniques to manipulate copper wire and sheet metal creating hammered cuffs, dream catchers, and keychains. Once proficient students will complete a capstone project utilizing sterling silver.( Grades 2 - 8)_____3:30 - 4:30pm______Cost: $ 350

Friday, Sept. 14 - Dec. 14:

Robotics: Learn to build and program robots! This term we will be working with the Arduino and Raspberry Pi microcontrollers to build our own functional robot. Learn about mechanical and software design, modern micro controller design, problem solving, and teamwork skills. Work in small groups to explore the part of robotics that excites you, while learning to work together to solve complex problems and rise to the challenge. We will work to program the robot to move and avoid obstacles, pick up and carry objects, and play sounds. Projects are structured so that students work in an open-ended, investigative environment while having fun.(Grades 5 - 8)____3:30-4:30pm______Cost: $ 300

Badminton Mania: Learn the basics of this wonderful Racquet sport and enhance your mobility, coordination skills, as well as teamwork. Our aim is to provide simple badminton drills that will help teach players of all ages and abilities how to play badminton, and develop game specific techniques. (Grades 3 - 8)_______3:30 - 4:30pm_______$ 300
