The Community Advice Network (CAN) brings together charities, voluntary and community organisations, social enterprises, public sector partners and grassroots community groups from across Doncaster that are committed to supporting local people and strengthening our communities.
The network exists to encourage collaboration, share knowledge, identify emerging issues and improve how organisations work together to meet the changing needs of Doncaster residents. By bringing together organisations of all sizes and specialisms, we can build stronger partnerships, reduce duplication and develop more joined-up support for our communities.
Our aim is to create a connected and informed voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector that helps people access the right support, at the right time, while giving organisations a stronger collective voice to influence local decision-making and shape future services.
We are keen to hear from charities, community groups and partner organisations about the challenges they are seeing, the support they provide, and the opportunities for greater collaboration across the borough.
Together, we can share learning, strengthen partnerships and maximise the positive impact the VCSE sector has for the people and communities of Doncaster.
