Students perform two selections for an audience of family and friends and will receive written feedback from a small panel of faculty adjudicators, who will also lead a brief post-event discussion.
In addition, the performers will write down their own comments regarding each other's performances, which will be collected at the conclusion of the festival and then given back to the performers in summary form (student comments will be anonymous).
The Festival is open to Extension Division students of all ages, instruments, and levels; memorization is encouraged but not required.
Participant fee: $10. Students/parents who complete this form will be billed separately.
Students requiring accompaniment must contact the Extension Division office – Ms. Dena Orkin, firstname.lastname@example.org - by Friday, November 1, 2018, or must provide their own accompaniment. There is a fee (paid by the student) for working with an accompanist arranged by the Extension Division.
