COMPANY M ALL STAR DANCE: AUDITION APPLICATION
Welcome to Company M All Stars Dance Team! Based in the vibrant Kalamazoo area of southwest Michigan, we specialize in competitive dance, featuring jazz, pom pom, and hip hop for elite dancers. Our dedicated all-star team competes from December to February, while also allowing your skills to build with their respective studios or schools. This team provides additional training that combines dancer from Michigan and Indiana. Join us as we prepare passionate dancers for collegiate training and beyond!

Company M All Star Team is open to students in grades 9-12. The Junior Company M All Stars Team is open to students in grades 6-8.  All students will audition together and coaches will place dancers accordingly on each team.  Teams will compete at UDA, DTU, and other regionals starting in December.  Summer camps are optional for 2025. We look forward to helping YOU reach your potential!


AUDITION SCHEDULE:
Register for Auditions by 5/1/25 via THIS Google Form.

Parent/Dancer Zoom and/or schedule a meeting in person – Sunday, May 4 - 6:00-6:30 P.M. (Link will be sent to registered students on this form.) 

Optional Pre-Audition Workshops – Wednesday, May 14, 2025, Time: 7:30-8:30 pm. FREE

Auditions - Sunday. - 5/18/25 - 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. at Mosaic Dance Center – 10097 Oakland Drive, Portage, Michigan

What to wear to audition? Solid colors in shorts/tops or leotard. Hair in bun and bring turning shoes.

Audition will consist 45 second combo, technique skills, steps across the floor and opportunity to show tricks or special skills. 

Team/Parent Meeting - TBD

Company M All Star Team is brought to you by Movement Concepts, LLC, a group of choreographers, coaches and leaders in dance education. Company M All Star is not an affiliate of any studio and rents space from various gyms or a dance studio. Training will be at a state-of-the-art dance studio, equipped with professional sprung floors, mirrors, and sound systems, providing the perfect environment for dancers to train and perfect their craft. Location is at Mosaic Dance Center at 10097 Oakland Drive, Portage Michigan.


What are the financial obligations?

Tuition is $110 a month September - January. Cost of competitions run $30-$40 a piece per competitions.  Coaches Travel fee is $50 for the season. Team Jacket $75 and team costumes: under $200
