Future of Johnson's New Green Spaces (FEMA Buyout Properties)

Purpose

The Town of Johnson is gathering input on how to transform FEMA buyout properties into community green spaces that support flood resilience, recreation, and long-term public use.

These properties were bought out due to flood risk. They must remain open space and cannot be developed with permanent structures like homes or commercial buildings. Any features must be flood safe and removable or designed for water flow.

We want your ideas for how these spaces can help our community thrive.
