Terps Translate
As part of the Year of Immigration, Terps Translate is a new initiative by the Office of Community Engagement that recruits volunteers to provide free translation and interpretation services at campus and community events.

Terps Translate will group volunteers together to determine the best translations for low-risk, non-legal documents submitted by stakeholders that serve multicultural populations. All proficiency levels and languages are welcome at Terps Translate.

Terps Translate will be incorporated at two OCE events during the spring semester:

1) Estudios Universitarios- a college access programming day in Spanish to Latinx families in Prince George’s County in March.

2) Good Neighbor Day- a large-scale day of service in April serving Greater College Park.
