Thank you for your interest in volunteering with AmeriCorps in remembrance of Martin Luther King Jr. on January 21st, 2019!
This year's event will give you the opportunity to impact local non-profit organizations! We will all convene for breakfast and coffee before dispersing in groups to service projects.
Projects:
1) Harwich Family Pantry | Cleaning and organizing display shelves
2) Yarmouth Food Pantry | Cleaning and organizing display shelves
3) Wellfleet Shellfish Department | Making bags for shellfishing
4) Meeting House Farm | Sanding and painting greenhouse stools
5) Creating trash bags from old t-shirts to be used at future “Canal Clean Up” event.

*Projects 3-5 will take place in the cafeteria. Volunteers assigned to projects 1-3 will disperse to their sites and can return home once the site project is finished. Volunteers should have their own source of transportation.

When: January 21st
Where: Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School cafeteria
Check-in: 8:30-9:00am
Leave for site: 9:40am
End time: 12:00pm
Important things to consider
1. This event starts at Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School and involves driving to another site no more than 25 minutes from our starting point. Personal items should not be left at Dennis- Yarmouth Regional High School. Once service is completed (no later than 12pm), volunteers are free to leave from their respective sites.
