DSA Labor, the Democratic Socialists of America national labor body, is accepting applications to fill one vacancy on the steering committee (SC).

The steering committee is a 15 person body composed of:

- 2 NLC co-chairs

- 11 elected members of the SC

- 1 NPC member

- 1 YDSA representative

This application is to fill the vacancy for one of the eleven (11) steering committee members for the remainder of the term (ending November 2025).

The DSA Labor Commission helps foster the growth of chapter-based labor working groups within DSA. With a growing network of local labor working groups working in coordination via the Labor Commission, DSA can better support a rank and file labor movement. The Labor Commission provides a central node of labor-related organizing resources, builds channels within DSA for labor activist networking and discussions, develops resources to tackle the challenges faced by socialists in their workplaces, and ultimately strengthens an intersectional, worker-led struggle.
