We want to recognize that you are doing us a favour when you join our community. We want to have better representation, that is more reflective of our city as a whole, in our classes, on our stage, and among our instructors, coaches, and leaders. One way to do that is to train more improvisers. We want to thank you for your willingness to try us out, and one of the ways we can do that is to provide scholarships for our classes.
Examples of underrepresented communities include, but are not limited to: - People of colour - Indigenous people - LGBTQ2S+ people - Differently abled people - Neurodivergent people - People experiencing financial barriers to participation
If this application itself is a barrier, you can also apply by email to email@example.com, or by speaking to Sara at a show.
Instructors are not made aware of which students are on scholarship, and there are no stipulations to the ways scholarships are used. Currently scholarships are offered on a request by request basis, we will email you instructions that will allow you to register for the relevant class on the website.
