EMU Marching Band Halftime Show Collaboration: Gospel Choir Musician Questionnaire
The EMU Marching Band is seeking volunteer musicians and individuals who are familiar with and interested in performing gospel music as part of a collaborative halftime show on Saturday, September 24 in Rynearson Stadium on the campus of Eastern Michigan University. Specifically, we are looking for church choir members, non-professional and professional vocalists/soloists, keyboardists, and other gospel instrumental musicians.

An informational Zoom meeting with EMU Marching Band Director, Dr. J. Nick Smith, and Wayne State University Choral Director, Dr. Brandon Waddles, will occur in mid-April with all interested parties.

Limited positions for participation are available, however, all are encouraged to declare their interest, regardless of formal training or experience. All interested persons should read and respond to the various questions below and submit the form by April 8, 2022.

By submitting this form, you are declaring your interest in participating without making a commitment to do so. Also, because final details and musician needs are not yet solidified, the EMU Marching Band is not guaranteeing interested participants will be contacted for further collaboration.

Questions should be directed to Dr. J. Nick Smith - jnick.smith@emich.edu
