THE MOON AND STARS PROJECT GRANTS APPLICATION FORM
ABOUT THE MOON AND STARS PROJECT GRANTS:
The program provides competitively awarded Project and Residency grants for burgeoning and established artists. Residency grants are awarded only to projects under the auspices of an arts and culture organization in Turkey or the United States. Applicants are required to include an invitation letter from relevant institution(s). Grant recipients are asked to provide a report upon completion of the program that contains visuals and detailed works about the project, and recognize The American Turkish Society in all written materials related to the program.
Project grants in support of travel and accommodation costs are extended only to projects that will be exhibited in the United States. Due to limited resources, we do not offer funding for film production, education programs, or attendance to biennials.

GRANT APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Please submit the following sections of the application in order to be considered. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

B. Program Summary (statement, description, calendar, and budget)
C. Supplementary Information (relationship to Turkey and/or Turkish arts, target population, desired outcomes, list of sponsors, donors, contributors, and other supporting organizations)
D. Supplementary Documents about Project
1. Cover letter detailing funding request
2. Supporting materials:
-Music: relevant audio files, CDs and/or videos
-Literature/Reading Events: manuscripts or published works
-Performing Arts: script and performance or rehearsal DVDs
3. Artist's CV (if applicable)
4. Visuals of past projects (if applicable)

GRANT PROCEDURE & REQUIREMENTS: Once your grant proposal is selected, you will be asked to sign a grant agreement. After the agreement has been signed, 80% of the grant amount will be provided to you in an initial check. The final 20% of the amount will be paid upon completion of the final report.
