Hi Austin parents! We've got some shoes to fill for next year!
The Austin PTO raises funds and provides volunteers to support our Mustang staff and kids, and we need parents to make it all possible! We have quite a few board positions open for next year and we are sure we can find just the right fit for you.

Myth: I'll get roped into volunteering for everything and I just don't have time.
Fact: We will find the board position that works for you and your life! We have positions that show up for just one event per school year, positions that only involve sending emails on your own time, and many different levels of commitment. We know PTO is a piece of your life, not your whole life!

Myth: The PTO has all the help they need.
Fact: Many hands make light work - we need YOU! Several board positions went unfilled in the past. We love being able to support the school by running the Mustang Stampede, Field Day, school picnics, teacher appreciation, and more! But without enough volunteers, these things simply won't be possible.

Myth: The PTO parents all already know each other and I'm not part of that clique.
Fact: The volunteers on the current board mostly met through PTO functions! It's a great way to meet other parents, and you will not be the only new board member. We love new faces and we can't wait to meet you!
