Expansive Strength & Fitness is owned by Coach Shannon Walsh. Other coaches rent space in the gym (189A Cedar Street, Somerville) and coach under their own brands. Below is a list of coaches, their general hours, and specialties. I cannot guarantee that any of these coaches have availability.

Coach Chlo (Chloe Zwiacher): 
*Available for 1-on-1 training 
*Works Mon/Tues/Thurs from 2PM - 7PM 
*Specializes in working with chronic pain/illness, hypermobility, and neurodivergence

Shannon Wheel Fitness: 
*Available for 1-on-1 training and small group class
*Works Tues/Thurs 7-2 and Fri 11-2 and 
*Small Group: Tues 7AM Strength and Conditioning 
*Specializes in working with women going through transitions (i.e. menopause, pregnancy, injury, etc.)

Expansive Strength & Fitness (Shannon Walsh)
*Not currently taking new 1-on-1 or bodywork clients
*Works M-F 7AM - 3 PM
*Small Groups: Strength M/W/F 7AM (full); Strength M/W 10:30 AM (spots available); Strength & Conditioning M/W/F 9AM (spots sometimes available)

There is another local coach (Mike Marano) who trains out of his apartment, which is located very close to the gym. He specializes in working with older people and folks with injuries, while espousing a punk rock vibe. He is not affiliated with Expansive Strength & Fitness, but is a local coach who seems good and works at a significantly discounted rate.
