Privacy Week is an educational campaign run by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (OPC). We’re pleased to accept a variety of webinars, but we won’t accept events we consider to be commercial. Our decision is final and we won’t enter into correspondence about it.
By signing up to present a webinar in Privacy Week, you’re accepting that OPC will set up (create in Microsoft Teams) the webinar for you. We won’t share webinar attendee details with you.
If you are accepted into Privacy Week we will promote, set up, and help run your webinar. Webinars will be recorded by default and uploaded to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner YouTube page. You can opt out of this by letting us know by email to privacyweek@privacy.org.nz. You are in charge of your webinar’s content, which includes monitoring and answering questions during time of the presentation. If you are not accepted into Privacy Week, you’re welcome to run and promote it yourself without using the Privacy Week branding.
Our decision on who is accepted as an official Privacy Week speaker is final and won’t be relitigated. We thank you for your understanding.
