Research indicates that visiting a college campus will improve the likelihood that a student will apply and matriculate to college.  The Education Alliance, in partnership with the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission, will provide $1,350 grants to 35 West Virginia schools. The visit is for 7th grade students and the funding can be used to support a visit to any 2-4 year public secondary education institution. The Campus visit can be done at any point in the 2019-2020 school year.  It will be required that the students take a pre and post visit survey (provided by The Education Alliance). By filling this form out, you have indicated you have knowledge of application contents and willingness adhere to the grant guidelines. Interested schools should submit applications to The Education Alliance via online, fax (304-342-0046) or by email to beth@educationalliance.org by December 18, 2019.
