Volunteer Signup for Mueller March
Please use this form to let us know how you can help with the march that will happen in Burlington if Trump fires  special counsel Robert Mueller (or crosses any related "red lines").  When the time comes, we will connect you with your team leader(s) for the things you signed up for.  

We've outlined a series of volunteer roles below, with a short description of each.  Some are preparation ahead of the event, some are at the event. BE REALISTIC.  Don't sign up for everything!  Add your name only for the options where you feel confident you can follow through.

PRE-MARCH VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Here is what needs to happen before the march so we are fully ready, if and when the time comes.  If your days are not flexible and you'd prefer to volunteer in the evening or on weekends, these are the best options for you!
Pre-Registration Publicity *
YOU:  A large and diverse network of friends around the region.  JOB DESCRIPTION:  Encourage/persuade/cajole your friends to pre-register for the march.  (We currently have about 905 people pre-registered.  Help us get to 1000!)
Network Building *
YOU:  At ease with calling people you don't know to ask them for help.  JOB DESCRIPTION:  Find contact info for people in charge of outreach/communications at local churches, community centers, etc., and ask them if they would be willing to both spread the word about pre-registration and send out an urgent message if and when the march happens.
Sign Making *
YOU:  Bold printing, create slogans or copy suggestions.  JOB DESCRIPTION:  Participate in or organize sign-making sessions, to make that will be distributed at the march for people to carry.
DAY-OF-MARCH VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
These are the things that will need to happen very quickly, if and when we get the word that a "red line" has been crossed.  If your schedule allows you to drop everything and jump in when we need you, sign up here!
FPF Posting *
YOU:  A member of your local Front Porch Forum.   JOB DESCRIPTION:  Drop everything and post immediately to your Forum with info about the march, if and when we get the word to go ahead.
Social Media Outreach *
YOU:  Active on social media with significant local reach via friends, followers, or groups.   JOB DESCRIPTION:  Drop everything and post immediately to social media about the march, if and when we get the word to go ahead.
Live Streaming *
YOU:  Active on social media with significant local reach via friends, followers, or groups.   JOB DESCRIPTION:  Live stream, tweet, or otherwise document and amplify the march in real time.
Event Marshal *
YOU:  Good at keeping people organized and solving problems on the fly.   JOB DESCRIPTION:  Work with a team of marshals to direct marchers, keep an eye out for problems, and bring in help as needed to keep things on track. Note: There will be training sessions in advance to prepare this team for day of event.
Signup Collection *
YOU:  Outgoing, organized, and lots of energy.   JOB DESCRIPTION:  Circulate throughout the crowd with a signup sheet asking people if they pre-registered for the march, and if not, get them to sign up on the spot so they can stay involved.
Chant Leader *
YOU:  Commanding presence, infectious sense of rhythm, and a big voice.   JOB DESCRIPTION:  Lead chants and songs as people march, in coordination with other chant leaders up and down the line.
Photographer *
YOU:  Experienced photographer with a good eye and a high-quality digital camera.   JOB DESCRIPTION:  Capture stills and video of the event, do lightning-fast post-processing, and share with march leaders.
Drone Operator *
YOU:  Own and are experienced with operating a drone.   JOB DESCRIPTION:  Capture aerial stills and video of the event and share with march leaders.
First Aid *
YOU:  Basic training in first aid and the ability to remain calm under all circumstances.   JOB DESCRIPTION:  Provide basic first aid and comfort for minor scrapes and bumps, and call for assistance immediately for anything serious.
Collecting Donations *
YOU:  Completely at ease asking strangers to give you money for a worthy cause.   JOB DESCRIPTION:  Circulate at the rally right before the march starts with a bucket asking people to chip in to cover march expenses.
Cleanup Crew *
YOU:  Get satisfaction out of leaving a place better than you found it.   JOB DESCRIPTION:  Bring up the rear of the march and pick up anything that got dropped, along with any other trash that you find.
