2020 MYL Foundation MassSTAR 3-Day Conference Junior Staff Application
The MassSTAR 3-Day Citizenship Conference is 100% volunteer staffed and is sponsored by the Massachusetts Youth Leadership Foundation (MYL Foundation). We rely on the enthusiasm and dedication of our outstanding volunteers to make this weekend possible - and we are happy that you are interested in providing it for the 2020 MassSTAR Conference!

PLEASE NOTE:

Application deadline: March 4, 2020 at 11:59:59 PM. Applications submitted after this deadline may not be considered.

Age: You must be under 21 years old at the time of the conference to be considered for a Junior Staff position. For those 21 and older, please see the Senior Staff Application.

APPLICATION: There are multiple choice, several short-answer questions, a professional character reference, and a self-recorded YouTube video. Please plan your time accordingly! We also encourage you to be open and enthusiastic in your responses.

Expectations of Junior Staff:
- Attend Staff Training on April 11th, 2020 from 10AM-3PM.

- Be available and onsite on-site at Lasell College for the 2020 Conference from 5pm on Thursday, May 28th 2020 through 7pm Sunday, May 31st 2020.

- Maintain professional behavior and appearance (in person and online) in all interactions with MassSTAR delegates, staff, and volunteers before, during, and following the 2020 MassSTAR Conference.

- Raise $250 in in-kind donations for the conference

- Ensure a sophomore delegate is nominated and registered from your school

- Maintain academic eligibility to participate in extra-curricular activities at your school


Please note, failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in exclusion from conference staff. Any conflicts must be communicated to the Junior Staff Director with as much notice as possible.
