EQUIMOB Stakeholder Consultation Events Registration
EQUIMOB project is funded by Netherlands Scientific Research Organization (NWO) in partnership with Utrecht University, The Netherlands; Institute for Social and Economic Change, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India; BGID and Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology from Bangladesh. One of the project’s primary objectives is to develop evidence-based insights for affordable, safe, accessible and inclusive urban mobility infrastructures for socially disadvantaged populations such as older adults, people with disabilities, women and low-income households.
EQUIMOB will be hosting a series of stakeholder consultation workshops to communicate research progress across four project sites (Dhaka, Delhi, Kolkata and Bengaluru) regarding (a) women and transport inequalities and (b) ageing and equitable access to urban transport infrastructures. The upcoming virtual stakeholder events are an opportunity for EQUIMOB researchers to receive critical feedback from experienced stakeholders on research activities, gaps and future research forays. In addition, these consultation workshops will contribute to the co-creation of an evaluative framework for inclusive urban mobility in India and Bangladesh.
