Mission Statement

We believe the light of Christ Jesus is God’s message of love, forgiveness, hope and wholeness to all. Our mission is to enable people to know Christ and make Christ known through worship, prayer, fellowship, discipleship and service.

We are a biblically based, Christ centered worship community that provides diverse worship styles through inspirational messages and music used to glorify God.

We are committed to the power and importance of prayer.

We are a hospitable community where authentic relationships are formed.

Discipleship
We are dedicated to growing in our faith as lifelong learners, finding our calling from God and supporting our vital ministry to children and youth.

We are a community that believes in cultivating the generosity of our time, talents, and treasures to ease others’ burdens locally, regionally and globally.

Our Commitment

To be a faithful steward of time, talent and treasures we commit to: attending worship, growing in our faith and discipleship, serving the missions and ministries of the church, offering financial support and tithing, and praying for our Church family, the community and our nation.

2019 Commitment

I will make the following commitments to Church of the Lakes:

I will attend worship services at every available opportunity.

I will pray for our congregation, leadership and pastors.

I will participate in at least one small group/bible study.

I understand that part of my commitment involves giving of my time and talents; and I will serve in at least one area of the church. Therefore, I will complete the Stewardship of my Time and Talents form.
