Hello,

We are excited about your interest in helping our campaign win in June of 2022.  With costs of living making it nearly impossible for working class families to survive in Santa Cruz, ongoing environmental impacts due to Climate Change, a lack of affordable housing, increasing homelessness, and struggling finances due to impacts from the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, we need a representative who is committed to facing these difficult challenges.  As a middle class tenant, environmental scientist, former City of Santa Cruz Mayor, Vice Mayor, and Council member Justin has addressed these issues head on and as Supervisor is committed to supporting lower, middle, and working class families, not just wealthy citizens of Santa Cruz.  Justin is committed to helping families rebuild after the 2020 fires in Bonny Doon and along the North Coast, reducing carbon emissions, addressing environmental impacts in our natural environments, making sure that we are increasing the production of affordable housing, and making sure that polices decisions are transparent and include a diverse set of voices to be inclusive and ensure equity. We will only be able to win with your help and we appreciate you taking the time to help our campaign.
