Background:
At UCSB, we are working to finalize our list of demands to present to admin, including the cost of living adjustment $ amount. If you aren't familiar with what's going on, check out our COLA FAQ in the folder of public files (linked below). We will be basing our demands on UCSC's demands, which include a COLA (Cost of Living Adjustment) for ALL grad students regardless of department/work/visa/housing/etc status that does NOT come from an increase in undergrad tuition, as well as a written guarantee that those involved in the strike will not be punished or retaliated against.

Comments & suggestions about the demands that we will be finalizing and then presenting to admin? We are expecting UCSB's COLA (Cost of Living Adjustment) amount to be calculated as between $1000-$2000 per month, but we will nail down the exact figure on Monday.
