Volunteer Application: Lane County 2020 Homeless Point In Time (PIT) Count
The Point In Time (PIT) Count is required by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and allows us to capture a "snapshot" of the extent of homelessness in Lane County on a given night. As a HUD grantee and Continuum of Care (CoC), we are required to conduct both a sheltered and unsheltered count annually during the last ten days of January. Conducting the PIT Count requires effort from the entire community and we appreciate your interest in volunteering for this task.
This application will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
The Unsheltered PIT Count will take place Thursday January 30, 2020. Volunteers sign up for a minimum shift of 3 hours (includes check in/out time at deployment center).
All volunteers are required to participate in an in-person training prior to the count. Trainings will be available across Lane County. Information will be emailed to volunteers.
