Spring '19 Art In Your Classroom Application
Come get your hands dirty with us! The Richmond Art Center's popular professional development series gives WCCUSD K-6 school teachers hands on experiences to integrate art making into the daytime curriculum. Participants will leave with a resource binder with standards-aligned art lessons, and a materials kit for your classroom.
This series of 4 Saturday workshops will be held on March 2, 9 and 16 and April 27, from 10am-2pm at the Richmond Art Center. Participants will be compensated hourly by the district as a paid professional development opportunity with the option of applying all or some of this time toward required professional development hours.
Spaces are limited and offered on a first come first served basis. Priority will be given to people who have not already taken the series. Participants must be able to attend all 4 sessions. To be considered, submit this online application by end of day on Friday, February 15. You will be notified about your registration status by Wednesday, February 20th.
