No new workshops are currently planned, if you're interested about hearing about new workshops when they are planned register below!

Last workshops run:
September 13,  4-8pm - MIT Media Lab
September 27, 10am-2pm - MIT Media Lab

Are you interested in introducing girls and women to technology? Part of a program that empowers them and shows the beauty of computer science? Want to start a new one, or join others?

Our workshop deals with the process of planning a new program, or iterating on an existing one. We will use the experience of many existing programs in the field and research findings to talk about goals, activities and tensions.

The workshop will help you:
  -  Formalize your goals and vision for the program.
  -  Design activities and methods to advance those goals, taking into account your unique situation.
  -  Familiarize yourself with other programs in the field, through a library of methods and activities.
  -  Learn about pressing issues in the field like inclusion, working with commercial companies, and scaling up.
  -  Learn from each other and connect with other leaders in the area.
