Application for position on the 2026 Board of IAM 
With responsibility comes accountability, and as a member of the IAM board you are expected to:
  1. Attend the monthly board meeting, typically held on the first Wednesday of every month.
  2. Become knowledgeable about India Association of Minnesota.
  3. Come to the board meetings informed and prepared about the agenda items.
  4. Contribute to the meetings by expressing your point of view.
  5. Consider others points of view and make constructive suggestions.
  6. Help the board in making decisions benefiting IAM.
  7. Serve on at least one board committee.
  8. Represent the organization to the individuals through attendance at special events & activities, and through meaningful financial contributions.
  9. Take on board leadership roles when asked.
  10. Maintain confidentiality of the board discussions.
