TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Membership Eligibility: Membership to MODA is open to all Malaysians or Permanent Residents of Malaysia who are above 18 years of age, as well as corporations, organisations and institutions registered in Malaysia.

  2. Corporations, Associations, Government Bodies: Corporations, associations, and government bodies applying for membership must provide a scanned copy of their official business/society/government registered document/licence once your membership application is approved.

  3. Approval Process: All membership applications will be reviewed by the MODA Committee for approval.

  4. Discretionary Refusal: The MODA Committee will carefully consider all membership applications, and while we appreciate your interest, we regret to inform you that your application may not be approved. The Committee reserves the right to decline any application at its own discretion, and are not obligated to provide grounds for the decision.

  5. Membership Entitlements: Upon approval of the application, the applicant shall pay the prescribed registration fee and annual subscription, and shall be admitted as a member of MODA, entitled to all the privileges of membership.

  6. Annual Subscription Payment: All annual subscription payments, except for the first subscription of a new member, shall be payable on the 30th day of January in each year without demand.

  7. Non-Payment of Subscription: Any member who fails to pay the annual subscription by the stipulated date shall receive a reminder notification from the Committee and shall be denied the privileges of membership until renewal payment is made.

  8. Resignation from MODA: Any member who wishes to resign from MODA shall give a two-week written notice via email to malaysiamoda@gmail.com and shall pay all outstanding dues. Any dues paid shall not be refunded.

  9. Benefits Subject to Change: The benefits listed in this document, notices and other related platforms are subject to change without prior notice.
