This form is for collecting information for future networking of people who want to be involved (in some manner) in the promotion and development of home/community made (affordable & repairable) wheelchairs for people with disabilities in less resourced countries or where needed.

Do-it-Ourselves is an expansion of DIY in that it acknowledges the importance of community involvement. Not everyone can DIY. Many times, it takes a village to make assistive technology. It is our goal that a successful DIO Movement can positively influence the direction of Institutional/Big Business Assistive Technology.
