This consultation is structured as an online questionnaire, which contains a narrative to explain the market issues and challenges faced by the electricity industry and outlines a summary of the challenges as documented by the licensees. An optional link to a spreadsheet is also included, where the full, detailed list of challenges is documented. The consultation contains structured questions as well as an opportunity for broader comment on the challenges put forward. The responses from this consultation will anonymised and the themes from the feedback will feed into the draft Electricity Network Innovation Strategy document.
This consultation will be open from 25th September until close of business on 6th October.
The relatively short duration is needed to allow time to incorporate stakeholder feedback into the draft strategy document. However please note that there will be a more comprehensive subsequent consultation and events later in the year, prior to finalisation of the Network Innovation Strategy and submission to Ofgem in March 2018.
