2022-23 (5783) Center for Youth Engagement (CYE) Madrichim Application
Please complete this form to indicate your interest and availability in participating in our madrich and madrichah program for the 2022-23 school year.
Please submit this form only if you can legally work in the United States and the State of California (and have adequate proof to that effect).
Submitting this form does not guarantee an offer of employment. If you are offered employment and are still a High School student, you will need to get a work permit in order to work as a Madrich/Madrichah with the Center for Youth Engagement.
First-year madrichim may receive community service hours. Returning madrichim may elect for paid or volunteer positions, but there are limited paid positions available at this time.
All staff for onsite opportunities must present proof of COVID-19 vaccination prior to hiring.

Wise Family Learning Experience | Sundays, monthly, Stephen Wise campus | 8:45-11:45 AM | Madrichim at our Wise Family Learning Experience help lead educational experiences that teach parents and children how to make Judaism meaningful at home.
Shabbat Torah Study | Saturdays, weekly, Stephen Wise Temple Campus | 8:45 AM-1 - 10:00 AM | Madrichim help facilitate Torah study, as well as a monthly T'filah service
T'filah (aka "Beit Midrash") | Tuesdays, weekly, virtual | 4:15-5:30 PM | Madrichim at our T'filah program help students master Hebrew enunciation and prayers in preparation for B'nai Mitzvah.

Wise Readers 2 Leaders Remote Readers and Mentors | Various | Make the world a better place while making meaningful relationships and providing essential reading skills for local children in underserved school districts.
Confirmation Mini-Course | 3 Sundays and 1 Friday, 5:30-6:30 PM | For seniors only. Engage with fellow seniors as they prepare for college life. All sessions are taught by our Wise clergy. See
